Pixavi Go Live 2.0 is a web application capable of managing large installations of streaming clients, video conferencing clients and streaming servers. The users can enter the application as a portal via a secure authentication system. The software is completely based on web 2.0 and Ajax.
The Go Live software is recommended to any customer with more than 5 users of the Xcaster series of products.
Web 2.0 based streaming client gatekeeper
For advanced users of the Xcaster, the Go Live 2.0 product will significantly increase efficiency, security and ease of use. By just entering a web page, the user can access any available and online Xcaster unit in real time just by the click of a mouse button. The AV stream will immediately show up in the browser or in a separate player window.
The user interface is divided between two different interfaces:
- end user interface (simple)
- advanced user interface (advanced)
The end user is therefore shielded from advanced settings and configuration details and these are only available to the system administrator. Go Live 2.0 is tightly integrated with the Xcaster firmware and features functionality to change configuration settings on an Xcaster unit even when the unit is turned off. The Xcaster will look up its new settings the next time it is turned on and adjust accordingly. This is for example very useful for dynamic password applications where the system administrator can change the access password of the Xcaster without ordering someone at the remote location to turn the unit on.
