Stavanger, Norway, June 5, 2003 -- VisiWear Corporation today launched the new ST 3100 product
-- a new mobile, wireless and wearable video conferencing system incorporating hardware, software and peripheral technologies designed to help organisations communicate more efficiently, saving both travel costs and operational costs.

VisiWear will showcase the ST 3100 for initial customers starting june 12, 2003. The product is available for sale, starting june 5. 2003.

VisiWear ST 3100, which is based on our new web based software platform and dsp based hardware platform, which significantly simplifies the user interface and lowers the user entry level and accessibility of advanced mobile video communication. The product is based around a MPEG-4 hardware encoder, embedded web server and a 802.11b wireless interface. The system is built into a aluminium housing featuring shock protection, IP 65 protection (splash proof) and impact resistance in a sleek and modern design.
